Healing Effects is a wholistic healing centre, embracing the skills and experience of a unique mother/daughter partnership.
Thelma and Carolyn focus on the belief that physical or emotional discomfort or illness, is a direct result of imbalance within your body. We seek to help you understand where this imbalance originated and how to listen to your body's messages. Only then can you seek ways to address this and on whatever level this imbalance was created.
Thelma has more than 40 years of nursing and management experience and is a trained massage therapist, Oncology Massage Therapist and Therapeutic Touch practitioner, working with many people over the years including palliative care patients and returned victims of the tsunami disaster.
Carolyn has a teaching background, has worked in advertising and editorial for a country newspaper and is a qualified Reiki practitioner & Master/Teacher and Ear Candling Practitioner. She is also a certified workshop leader and personal Coach for Heal your Life, based on the philosophies of bestselling author and teacher, Louise L Hay.
